Service Technician

Romano Chrysler Jeep is seeking a skilled and experienced Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for automotive repair, a keen attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to our customers. Being a Certified Chrysler Technician, or an experienced Master Tech is a plus, but not required. As a Technician at Romano Chrysler Jeep, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, & Ram vehicles to the highest standards.

Pay:
  • Pay starts at $22 per flat rate hour, and we are willing to pay up to $32 flat rate for qualified candidates
Auto Technician Qualifications/Experience:
  • BOCES certificate or degree/training in automotive technology
  • At least 2 years of experience working as an Automotive Technician
  • Strong diagnostic and problem solving skills
  • Proficiency with automotive diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Valid NYS Driver's license is required
  • NYS inspectors' license is required
Job responsibilities include:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on all vehicles according to manufacturer guidelines.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues accurately and efficiently.
  • Complete repairs in a timely manner while ensuring quality workmanship.
  • Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and service advisors regarding vehicle issues and repair recommendations.
  • Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and advancements through ongoing training.

Romano Chrysler Jeep is looking to add an experienced salesperson to their growing team. We are looking for someone preferably with 2 years or more sales experience in the auto industry, but we will consider any sales background.

Sales Consultant Job Responsibilities include:
  • Meeting and greeting customers
  • Performing customer interviews to help them choose the right vehicle for their needs and budget
  • Showcasing the dealership’s vehicles and explaining their features and warranties to customers
  • Answering customer questions about cars, financing and purchase process
  • Negotiating car prices and trade-in values for customers’ vehicles
  • Working closely with management throughout sales & finance process
  • Keeping in contact, and follow up with customers regularly

We offer a 5-day work week, with 1 weekday off each week and we are only open 9am- 6pm Monday through Thursday, 9am-5:30pm Fridays, and 9am-3pm on Saturdays. We are closed on Sundays.
